Flight training (and consolidation) Gamified!
A modern electric plane requires a modern electric training process. FlyOnE is leveraging the power of 'game theory' to help build skills and confidence in controlled and non-controlled airspace for Electro students and alumni by setting trackable and sharable missions with the goal of completing the course with the least amount of energy used! Below are our growing range of courses that electric pilots compete on for efficiency and skills development.
Perth City Electro FLyover mission
- Perth has a popular scenic route for aviators, indicated on the Visual Terminal Chart, that transits the river for an approach past the CBD. Typically, this route, called the Victor 65, enters Perth controlled airspace near Mosman Park, passes by the South side of the city and then vectors North to exit the control zone between Herdsman Lake and City Beach. Completing this typical Victor 65 route from Jandakot in the Pipistrel Electro brings the Pilot dangerously close to minimum reserves. To overcome this, FlyOnE has negotiated with Air Services Australia to create an Electro specific Perth City approach and departure for a shorter track to allow greater energy savings, but still expose the occupants to all the beautiful Perth City and River views.
- Hire the Pipistrel Electro (pay per use) to fly the Perth City scenic route with a passenger.
