FlyOnE Sustainable Aviation is now your local (Australian) Galaxy parachute recovery system ambassador, assisting with sales and service of ballistic parachute systems for all Pipistrel Aircraft and other aircraft using GRS parachute safety systems.
Original Galaxy Recovery Systems have a 6 year scheduled inspection and rocket fuel replacement interval, but all new inspections and fuel replacements now extend the service interval to a whopping 9 years!
FlyOnE is now stocking exchange parachute systems (for Pipistrel Aircraft) for a fast swap of an existing system for a new 9 year interval unit, as well as completing batch services of GRS systems. By organising a scheduled service of your parachute recovery system in a batch of 5-7 units at a time, up to $1000 is saved per system. These batches will happen once or twice a year depending on demand. A single system can be sent for service at any time but will attract a higher cost due to the expensive nature of shipping the 'Dangerous Goods' class rocket fuel assemblies.
Estimated turnaround time for a batch service parachute inspection/Rocket fuel repack is around 6-8 weeks.
Your aircraft can continue to operate with permissible unserviceability of the parachute ONLY IF it has been approved for this exemption with an acknowledgment issued by the manufacturer in accordance with CASA AC 21-28v1.1 (click for link) section 2.2.3.2For more information, email elevate@flyone.com.au

EXCHANGE BUY BACK OPTION - If you would like to exchange your parachute rather than have it absent from the aircraft, FlyOnE can offer you a 'buy back' option to purchase your original parachute and rocket assembly after the purchase of your new Galaxy BRS. Buyback offer amounts will be completed on a case by case basis as per the age/condition of your parachute/rocket assembly. The estimate of a buy-back price will be approximately half the cost of a new unit.
