Korum Ellis, Biography
Korum Ellis (Born February 11, 1983) is a businessman and investor.He is the founder, chairman, product architect and CEO of FlyOnE Sustainable Aviation (2021- present); Owner/operator and fleet manager of RideOnE (2021- present) and former owner/operator of Audiocom Mobile Electronics (2016-2022).
In 2008, Korum moved to Perth, Western Australia to work with the dominant vehicle electronics retailer, 'Alberts Car Stereo'. Working closely with that company Korum opened new sites, managed existing sites, and helped to optimise the business.Ultimately growing out of this role in 2014, Korum separated from the Alberts Car Stereo business to return focus to the online vehicle electronics retail business he founded in 2001, 'Universalfuze', growing the DIY vehicle electronics retailer to a youtube Audience of 30K views per month and selling DIY vehicle upgrade packages specifically for popular Australian vehicle models. In 2016 Korum purchased the last ‘Audiocom’ branded retail store (a former retail giant in Western Australia that had collapsed) with a business partner for a small five-figure sum. After buying out his partner in 2019, Korum grew the business, merging it with Universalfuze to establish 3 strong retail locations in Western Australia and a growing online retail presence.
Using the cashflow from the Audiocom business and lessons learned in 20 years of business operation, Korum founded FlyOnE and RideOnE in 2021.After 12 months of market research and product architecture planning, FlyOnE acquired it's first electric aircraft in 2022 and begun integrating electric aircraft operations into the Australian Aerospace industry.Ultimately seeing a bigger opportunity in aerospace, Korum sold the Audiocom and Universalfuze brand in 2023 to the Moore family in Western Australia for the humble amount of AUD$496K, to focus his energy and attention on the integration of renewable energy sources in the Aerospace industry.
Korum now leads FlyOnE in the transition of legacy aviation to renewable energy aircraft in Australia, having integrated electric Pilot training to two states, Decarboinsing Air-Taxi services, beginning the rollout of electric aircraft charge infrastructure Australia-wide and securing the supply of the most economically viable next-generation of electric aircraft.Korum has led the company as Founder and CEO from its inception, through its early growth stages and multiple funding rounds to a market cap. value of AUD$57m as of August 2024 and continues to lead the company into scalable market deployment in Australia and beyond.

Perth's First flying cars will be landing in 2025
March 10, 2022: FlyOnE today announced a new partnership with creator of eVTOLS for the consumer market, AIR. This partnership will facilitate the delivery of 25 AIR ONE Aircraft, Australia’s first two-seater eVTOLs for private recreational use. In addition, FlyOnE is announcing the rollout of mobile water landing pads with aircraft recharge capabilities as well as partnerships with key airfields to operate recharge nodes for existing electric fixed-wing aircraft on the Lilypad Elevate electric aviation network with operations beginning in March 2022.
A growing fleet..
We have been operating electric passenger aircraft for some time now in WA and have accumulated a few hundred hours of flying with scores of guests and student pilots. We have now stepped up operations with 3 x Electric Aircraft to operate on our growing network of charge nodes in WA and with new flight school partners in VIC and NSW.This is just the tip of the iceberg. As well as recreational and training ops being conducted in electric planes now, we will have charter and air taxi services available from 2023 onwards in ever increasing aircraft sizes from 2 seat to 4 seat to 5 seat over the next 24 months.
Australian Electric aviation network
FlyOnE has recently entered a new partnership agreement with Electron Aerospace to take delivery of 28 five-seat medium range (750klm) electric aircraft to service Australia's first regional electric aviation network. Expected delivery is 2026.
Partnerships are being established with key airfields to operate recharge nodes for existing recreational electric fixed-wing aircraft on the Lilypad Elevate electric aviation network with operations beginning in March 2022.
