You should have a current passport. FlyOnE does not provide help for you to obtain your Visa. You need to apply for the visa yourself and you should only book your international flight to Perth, Australia, and your flight lesson times with FlyOnE, AFTER you have obtained your Visa. New Zealand passport holders can apply for a visa upon arrival in the country. All other passport holders must apply for a visa before leaving their country. You can apply for a tourist visa (not an education or training visa) online at this Australian Government website, or visit your nearest Australian Embassy or Consulate. There are three types of visas you can apply for to use while learning to fly in Australia:- Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601)- eVisitor (subclass 651)- Visitor visa (subclass 600)It normally takes around 48 hours for your visa to be granted. Once the visa is issued you have 12 months to enter Australia and the visa duration will start only on the date you arrive in the country and will be valid for 1 year from then on.
We recommend planning your training in Blocks. We can get you to the level of RPC in around 4 weeks with your chosen flight training organisation, that would be the first block. You can then plan the next block of training to get you to the level of PPL in a second block.

Making pilot training more affordable
Electric aviation presents new pilots (and training schools!) with an amazing cost saving. The massively reduced service and maintenance schedule of electric aircraft, coupled with lower energy-per-hour usage, means that our flight school partners can offer you, the new recruit, far greater value using electric trainer aircraft.
Starting with your recreational Pilot Certificate, you will learn to fly solo in a Light Sport aircraft, giving you the opportunity to build your skills and confidence in low-cost electric aircraft. Then, when you are ready to progress to a PPL, you can complete an RPL conversion and take on your next stage of navigational training in a GA electric aircraft, arriving at your PPL with at least $5K less cost than in an ICE aircraft. With far fewer emissions!

What license do I need to fly an electric aircraft?
LEARN TO FLY IN A ZERO-EMISSIONS PIPISTREL ALPHA ELECTRO ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT!
We are working hard to offer the most attractively priced flight school curriculum available, not only have we lowered the barrier to entry by keeping the cost more efficient than it ever has been before, but the RA-AUS certified pilots emerge from our jandakot flight school partners with two extra endorsements that aren't typical of other schools, a Controlled aerodrome radio endorsement and an Electric aircraft endorsement! You can then add on a further RPL conversion, a navigation endorsement and a controlled airspace endorsement which will let you fly a single-engine aircraft of up to 1500kg MTOW with multiple passengers anywhere in Australia if you have a Class 1 or 2 medical certificate!
The first step, the RA-AUS certificate, which gives you solo flight capabilities (or passenger endorsement if you have a Class 1 or 2 medical certificate) with a MTOW of 600kg and a range of 25NM from your point of departure, costs around AUD$10K, (20-25 hours training for most people) and can be completed between 2-50 weeks. The school operates 7 days a week so we can fit in lessons and flights for you anytime to suit your schedule (and sometimes the weather). This will suit most of the light sport electric aircraft we will have available for pay-per-use for our Alumni and Alumna on the Lilypad elevate network.. a network of pay-per-use aircraft and charge nodes at airfields and metro vertiports that are less than 25NM apart, including the currently 'Available-for-hire' Pipistrel Alpha Electro 2 seater light sport aircraft.

Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC)A Recreational Pilot Certificate is issued by RA-Aus and allows you to fly two seat aircraft during daylight hours only and up to a Maximum Take Off Weight of 600kg. This is completed in a RA-Aus registered aircraft such as our Pipistrel Alpha Electro trainer and is much cheaper than completing a 'RPL' (below), but can be converted to an RPL after completion. The FlyOnE Skycademy™ will fast-track you through the below process with experienced flight instructors that have thousands of hours of instruction history. An astute and dedicated student can safely achieve their RA-Aus certificate for solo flight capability in as little as 8 weeks for an estimated cost of between AUD$10,000 and AUD$12,000 (varies depending on the number of training hours required to develop competency in all areas*). All hours accumulated achieving an RPC count towards an RPL, PPL and CPL.
Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) A Recreational Pilot Licence is issued by CASA and allows you to fly aircraft in daylight hours only up to a Maximum Take Off Weight of 1500kg. An RPL is typically completed in a GA-registered aircraft which can be $100-$150 per hour more to fly than our Alpha trainer. After completing an RPC, you can convert to an RPL with our certified training partner in Jandakot, Cloud Dancer Aviation, Allowing you to continue furthering your career qualifications to a PPL or CPL.
