The aircraft is equipped with a ballistic parachute for emergency stall protection, the aircraft will also glide for an emergency runway landing.

POINT TO POINT TRANSPORT LOGISTICSThe Macchina Volantis MV FC4/5 is a highly capable E-VTOL (electric vertical take-off & landing) aircraft that does not require a runway for take-off and landing. Unlike a helicopter, the FC4/5 can take off and land in confined spaces such as between buildings or wooded areas. Point to point transport alleviates traditional hub-based congestion, no additional infrastructure is required to operate the FC4/5.
DRIVES LIKE A CAR, FLIES LIKE A PLANEThe Macchina Volantis MV FC4/5 adapts to the size of a normal car for easy storage. It is able to taxi at up to 60klm/h allowing it to be driven on roads like a car*.
While EVTOL aircraft are drastically quieter than a conventional aircraft, long-range taxiing will assist noise regulation by allowing for easy distancing between passenger entry points and take-off points.
