FLIGHT DESIGN F2e

Flight Design general aviation has created an international team of light aircraft industry specialists and designers to collaborate on the F2. The structure of the F2 is manufactured to close tolerances in pre-impregnated carbon fiber for great structural strength and lightweight. The advanced features of the F2 will make all your flights safer and more enjoyable but also a better environment for learning how to fly. A modern aircraft should have all the features seeking to improve performance, situational awareness, and reduce the pilot workload. he F2e is based upon the Flight Design F Series modular platform. All F Series variants are designed and built according to EASA CS-23 and FAA Part 23 requirements. This allows more opportunities for increasing performance, allows all uses including Personal, Flight training, and Commercial rental anywhere in the world. The F2e will not be restricted like electric-powered Ultralights or LSA types which have no international regulatory path, so it will be certified to VFR Day-Night and eventually, IFR. The F2e uses the structure of the soon-to-debut F4 four-seat version, allowing a 1000 kg (2200 lbs.) MTOW. This provides an ample amount of onboard energy storage (100 kWh) for the F2e’s performance and duration goals using today’s technology.
